~ COFFEE PORRIDGE WITH MAPLE CARAMELIZED BANANAS ~

Ok cmon, you gotta admit that sounds pretty AMAZING! Well it’s even better than it sounds (ik, shocking lol) and is super duper filling so you won’t be needin lunch for a while after eating this yummy bowl of goodness🤪💗

INGREDIENTS:

* 1 cup slightly BLENDED oats

* 1/4 cup dairy free milk

* 3/4 cup STRONG COFFEE

* 1 tsp chia seeds

TOPPINGS:

* Caramelized maple bananas (scroll down to learn how to make this )

* Brazilian nuts

* Coconut

* Trader Joe’s chunky almond butter

INSTRUCTIONS:

* For the Oats: add all the oats ingredients in a small pot and heat to medium. It will slightly bubble. Make sure to continually stir so nothing burns, and continue to let simmer. When most of the liquids have soaked up ( but is still a little more liquid that what you would prefer) transfer to a bowl while you cook the bananas.

* For The Bananas: heat a nonstick pan to below medium. Add a dollop of coconut oil, maple syrup, and then a bunch of cinnamon. When the mixture starts to get heated and slightly bubbly, you can add the bananas (they can be cut however you like). Let them just chill there for a few minutes untouched, then flip it. They should have nice Caramelized pan marks. When the other side has cooked also, transfer the hot bananas to your oatmeal bowl. I like drizzling whatever sauce is left in the pan because it just tastes sooo YUMM! And DON’T forget the other toppings and then voila!
