Enjoy this healthier version of the butterbeer so notoriously featured in Harry Potter without a trip to universal!

Ingredients

  • for the soda
  • 2 cups (2 cans) Zevia cream soda

  • 2 Tablespoons sugar free caramel sauce

  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

  • for the cream
  • ½ cup canned coconut milk

  • 2 Tablespoons melted ghee

  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  • Whisk the soda ingredients together and evenly divide into two cups.
  • Froth, blend, or extensively shake the cream in a mason jar until the cream is airy. Mix in the rest of the cream ingredients and pour over the soda.
  • Optionally, drizzle each of the drinks with a caramel or cinnamon sprinkle. 

Notes

  • Substitute cream soda with apple cider for a yummy fall alternative.
  • Use coconut cream instead of coconut milk and beat in a mixer to develop a whipped cream instead of thinner, runny cream that is created with just coconut milk.
