2. Begin by adding all the ingredients, except for the nut butter or tahini, to a food processor or blender and pulse until smooth. Taste it and decide if you want to add a sweetener. Keep in mind that some of the sweetness will cook as it bakes.
3. Now pour the mixture into a small baking pan or bread loaf pan. I used an 8×8 pan.
4. drizzle the nut butter or tahini over the chocolatey mixture and create a swirly pattern by gliding a spoon or spatula through the mixture.
5. place this into the oven and bake for around 30 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick stuck through the center comes out clean. when done, let cool slightly so the brownies will firm up a little. They will still be very soft when they have fully formed. I love eating these brownies plain, but they are also so yummy over ice cream, gourmet shakes, or whatever else you can think of.
